West Iceland has 9 disc golf courses, from Garðalundur in Akranes and Borgarnes up through Borgarfjörður and out onto the Snæfellsnes peninsula. Snæfellsnes alone has four courses - Grundarfjörður, Ólafsvík, Hellissandur and Stykkishólmur. Most are friendly 9-hole town courses suited to all skill levels.
